Brad McDonald

Brad McDonald – Principal

Brad McDonald has 30 plus years experience in establishing and managing the financial divisions, investing funds and mitigating transactional risks, for some of the country’s largest bank and life insurance companies. Brad’s strengths are specializing in every form of structure and instrument to fund transactions. Strengths additionally include negotiating all transactional aspects and the related documentation. Brad has extensive experience in syndication of transactions domestically and internationally, specializing in the refining, energy, real estate and marine markets. Brad has also provided leases and debt for domestic and international transactions. Brad has managed the completion of hundreds of transactions, many ranging from $100 million to $4 billion in size.

Christopher McDonald – Principal

Christopher McDonald has a background in investment banking, corporate banking  as well as private placements. He has experience leading large complex capital markets transactions in both an agent and participant role. He has advisory, private placement and structured finance experience in a wide variety of industries on a domestic and international basis.  Christopher was part of a startup refinery project finance company, where he gained experience with raising equity, investor relations and business development. He speaks Spanish and has worked several years in Mexico and South America. Christopher graduated Cum Laude with an MBA from University of Houston and Cum Laude from Midwestern State University with a BBA in Business Administration and Spanish.

Gerry Tanner

Gerry Tanner – Managing Director/Infrastructure – Credit Enhancement

Gerry Tanner was the chairman of the board of TXL Holding Company, a SEC broker dealer and formerly the investment banking subsidiary of Genstar Corporation, then a Fortune 100 company. He has many years of experience in the developing, owning and operating of energy projects, transportation assets and various build-to-suit and real estate projects. Gerry used to make a market in financial and various other forms of insurance and guarantees in a portfolio exceeding $2 billion. The loss experience on this portfolio is nil. Gerry is a past assistant professor of business administration at the University of Illinois – Chicago.
