Brad McDonald
Brad McDonald has 30 plus years experience in establishing and managing the financial divisions, investing funds and mitigating transactional risks, for some of the country’s largest bank and life insurance companies. Brad’s strengths are specializing in every form of structure and instrument to fund transactions. Strengths additionally include negotiating all transactional aspects and the related documentation. Brad has extensive experience in syndication of transactions domestically and internationally, specializing in the refining, energy, real estate and marine markets. Brad has also provided leases and debt for domestic and international transactions. Brad has managed the completion of hundreds of transactions, many ranging from $100 million to $4 billion in size.

Christopher McDonald
Christopher McDonald has substantial experience working in McDonald Financial’s various industry sectors. Christopher was a member of a startup refinery company. He is fluent in Spanish and has worked several years in Mexico and South America. Christopher is leading business development for MFC construction and engineering services. Christopher graduated Cum Laude from Midwestern State University with a BBA in Business Administration and Spanish and is currently pursuing an MBA.

Edwin K. Nelson, IV
Mr. Nelson received a B.S. in Finance from the University of South Florida in 1975. After graduation from the University of South Florida, Mr. Nelson entered the real estate appraisal and sales business, which naturally flowed into work in the real estate development business. Mr. Nelson attended law school and received his Juris Doctorate from the South Texas School of Law in 1990. After graduation from the South Texas School of Law, Mr. Nelson has worked as a civil trial and appellate lawyer, specializing in commercial litigation and admiralty and maritime law litigation. Mr. Nelson’s education, work experience and transactional expertise greatly enhance the products and services offered by McDonald Financial Corporation.

Chuck Johnson
Mr. Johnson has worked in numerous areas of commercial and investment banking, during his 25 year career. These include originating transactions, managing relationships and leading teams. He has spent the past 10 years, working specifically in the energy industry as an originator and participant in various transactions. Mr. Johnson received both a B.B.A. in Finance, and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. He is married and has two children.

John F. Garrett, P.E.
Mr. Garrett evaluates construction and engineering detail so that MFC may establish turn-key funding solutions for clients, which include soft costs, engineering, procurement and construction. John has 36 years experience in managing and engineering complex industrial, power, refining, petro-chemical and other related projects. Prior to becoming a member of MFC John resided in the Middle-East, where he designed and assisted in plant installation services for governments and industrial entities. John has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama and currently resides in Chicago. John is a member of ASME, NSPE, and a member of the Federation of Arab Engineers.
