Brad C. McDonald, President
McDonald has over 28 years experience in structuring, documenting, and funding structured financings, leases, and sale/leasebacks for major banks and insurance companies. He has an extensive background working with CFO's and Treasurers of major corporations of numerous industries and their accounting firms in achieving the client's desired off balance sheet and tax treatment. McDonald opened and managed leasing and financing operations for some of the nations largest financial institutions and has managed the completion of over $5 billion of financings.
McDonald Financial Corporation was established in cooperation with a group of life insurance companies in order to offer clients maximum competitiveness and long term funding availability through a broad investor base.
Previously, McDonald managed regional financial divisions for American General and Wells Fargo and was President and CEO of First City Capital Markets Group, Houston, Texas and COO of its successor company SunAmerica Financial Resources, Houston, Texas (an affiliate of SunAmerica Life Insurance).
John O. Bullington, Managing Director
Bullington has over 35 years experience in structuring and documenting financing transactions, including 22 years experience in corporate and commercial banking.
As Executive Vice President of First City National Bank of Houston, Bullington managed a line of business with a portfolio of over $2 billion of commercial loans. Since 1988, he has served as a financial consultant to a variety of public and private concerns. He has participated in significant debt restructurings, arranged financings and new capital, evaluated and prepared business plans, marketed investment banking products and provided clients with general financial advice including debt restructuring and loan negotiations.
Bullington received his BSBA from Georgetown University and his MBA from the University of Texas.
Keith E. Johnson, Vice President and CFO
Johnson has over 18 years experience specializing in pricing and structuring transactions to accommodate lessee tax and accounting needs in the funding of synthetic leases, operating leases, sale/leasebacks, and finance leases.
Johnson joined McDonald Financial Corporation in 1993, where he manages the financial operations of the company. He is responsible for pricing, structuring, documentation review, credit analysis, transaction offerings, tax compliance, and accounting compliance.
Johnson was previously Syndications Manager at Atlantic Leasing Corporation (Bank of Baltimore), Baltimore, Maryland and Controller of First City Leasing Corporation, Houston, Texas.
Johnson passed the CPA exam in 1985.
