International Transactions

MFC has completed numerous transactions in Mexico and has programs designed for (a) United States entities operating in Mexico and (b) Mexico entities exporting to the United States.

For Mexico transactions, MFC has provided credit enhancements for Mexico credits and has achieved ratings on Mexico transactions which enable the transaction to be rated as a bond and funded under very favorable terms.

Primary products include obligations backed by investment grade credits secured by real estate or equipment. For project financing and portfolio transactions, MFC will prepare detailed analyses of cash flow, collateral value, performance ratios and the availablility of a qualified servicer in the event of a default.
